Per Capita Records' Ya Za fell victim to a vicious hacker attack on her personal sites and public sites. We don't really get why these clowns aren't spending their time in a more productive manner, but rest assured their operations are being tracked down via IP address investigation. This is being taken very seriously by all parties involved and we will get to the bottom of it. What we realllly need right now is for the supporters of Ya Za to group together and help her build back the fan page.  If you would please help us out and take a second to ad the fan page, Ya Za & Per Capita would greatly appreciate your kindness. Per Capita Record's Jazz catalogue proudly features Nashville's dearest Rachel Pearl. 2010 has definitely been a major year for Rachel Pearl. Almost as soon as Rachel picked up the ukulele earlier this year and began broadcasting songs she'd written on the ukulele to her youtube channel audience, she received two major endorsements with renowned instrument kings Kala Ukulele and Luna Guitars. Not to mention, Rachel's steadily updated youtube channel is drawing users in by the thousands from every continent.

Rachel released two albums in 2010 on Per Capita, "Love Extravagantly" (re-release) and "Keepin' It Old School" while she was on the road & spending many a night crooning under the stars to delighted guests of her live show. Rachel performs locally often, most recently at one of Nashville's favorite dining and music digs, Sambucca. We urge to you check out Rachel Pearl's videos online and look for her music wherever you purchase it, because you won't leave empty-handed.

This year's Nashville Scene "Top 10 Artists to watch for in 2010" critic's pick, Ya Za, has released two momentus projects on Per Capita Records in 2010.  Or actually three, including a third full length charity album "We Will Not Ignore - Songs in the Key of Humanity."  Ya Za executive produced the project with Per Capita labelmate Jonathan Winstead, organizing all of the special appearances on the record from many of Nashville's favorite artists. Some might ask, "Does she ever slow down?" The answer is a resounding "NO!" Ya Za signed to Los Angeles/London based V.I.P. Entertainement recently and she is in the planning stages for a UK Tour. I am sure we will have more to tell you about Ya Za in a matter of moments.
