Bipolar In Stereo (Extended Album) hits worldwide digitally this JULY 20TH! You will be able to get the full length 13 track re-mastered extended album anywhere online music is sold.... 7.20.2010!

From the Nashville Scene "10 Artists To Watch In 2010" on the original Bipolar In Stereo 7 track EP released this past February:

"The group of tunes that found its way onto Ya Za's debut album Bipolar in Stereo EP— despite what the title might imply — is a cohesive exploration of love and life in the 21st century, a digital age diary where swirling synths and booming drums are as much a part of the vocabulary as nouns and verbs" -Nashville Scene

Ya Za is storming up a buzz this summer while successfully coining a whole new batch of enthused followers. Named accurately earlier this year by Nashville Scene as one of the top 10 artists to watch in 2010, Ya Za has been gigging steadily (when not in the studio engineering, arranging, producing, and being a full time Mom) showing captive audiences her skillfullness as a prolific and truely multi-talented individual.

Following her February 2010 debut "Bipolar in Stereo" EP, Ya Za will be releasing a full length re-mastered and re-mixed version with 4 whole new unheard tracks this July.... and we just can't wait!

Where we are, and where we are going...

We've come a long way in since our spring beginnings in 2009. 6 releases in 2009 included: It's Here and Dark Earth by UK's electronic guru Mark Johnson a.k.a. Film Noir World. Film Noir World's third release called Tales of the lost cat comes to download stores, podcasts, and blogs everywhere in late January 2010. Next we have Rachel Pearl's Love Extravagantly! This album has already topped charts and been embraced around the world by thousands. Rachel Pearl has a 2010 EP on it's way to the world through Per Capita Records. Sharon Lang's acoustic debut album Lovers And Thieves is an indie community favorite and has enlisted Sharon Lang fans from around the globe as well. Before being dropped from major label Arista Records, Automatic Black was opening for KISS and Aerosmith on the 2003 Roximus Maximus tour. Due to label staff changes, their much anticipated "De-Evolution" album never got fully released. Only two singles "Go your Own Way" and "Crash And Burn" made it to the radio stations and into a Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 on Xbox (Hey Tiger). The band followed up with their very own independent debut Automatic Black EP in 2009 through Nashville indie label Per Capita Records. And the first album to be released on Per Capita Records in 2009 was a self titled album by UK electronic artist Schizoid Club. Schizoid club is a popular duo Matney and Sofia Lolley, who provides the sultry Bjork-ish vocals on the dub/funk/electro tracks.

In 2010...

Per Capita records is debuting 5 new releases in Jan/Feb 2010. Right after the first of the new year you will have access to five more new releases from all new artists and one or two you've grown to love already. Stay tune for news and be sure to catch us on twitter and facebook!

Rachel PearlPicture
Rachel Pearl’s voice is mesmerizing, transporting; her fashions are elegant, eccentric; and her mix of musical styles never fails to take her audience to places they don’t expect to go… A tousle of red atop shapely dress, she takes the old, mixes it with the new and constantly tests the boundaries of where music should go. Pearl has a way of turning every vocal performance into a lesson in chemistry between an audience and a true artist.

Named as one of the “Top Emerging Artists of 2006” by American Idol Magazine, Rachel has been awarded honorable mention in Billboard’s 14th Annual list, a Semi-Finalist in Discmakers 2007 Independent Music World Series, and has gone on to win First Place in both the 2006 and 2007 American Idol Underground Jazz Competition.

Whether she’s channeling the 20th Century classics of Ella, Billie Holiday and Tina Turner, or crooning one of the self-penned compositions from her 2007 debut CD, Love Extravagantly, Rachel Pearl is consistently putting down roots in her own chosen field.

You can usually find her in Nashville’s backyard experimenting in night clubs like Mercy Lounge, The Basement, Cafe Coco and The Rutledge. Careful - her chemistry will entice you inside. Before you even know it your hand will be stamped and you’ll find your eyes focusing on a spot-lit stage. There you’ll see a tousle of red atop shapely dress. And if you’re lucky enough to find a table, sit back, and just listen to Rachel Pearl.

- Bart Green

*Rachel Pearl, well known also for her critically acclaimed debut album "Love Extravagantly," will be releasing new material in 2009 and onward into 2010 with Per Capita Records!
